North American Management was co-founded by John M. Robertson, CEO and James R. Petersen, President. Under their leadership, North American Management has built relationships by partnering with people and companies that demonstrate the highest integrity and standards of operating excellence.

Co-Founder of North American Management, John has an extensive background in business that includes over 30 years of experience in creating, syndicating, developing, managing and financing commercial real estate projects.

Bert Zimmerli

Mr. Zimmerli, recently retired after 20 years as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Intermountain Healthcare, a fully-integrated $14+ billion health system based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Over this period Intermountain’s revenue and net assets grew approximately 500% and 830%, respectively, and achieved & maintained the highest financial ratings in healthcare (AA + from S&P and Aa1 from Moody’s). He was responsible for the direction and oversight of all Intermountain financial operations, as well as Intermountain’ s revenue cycle, supply chain, insurance and venture development and innovation strategies. Prior to joining Intermountain, Mr. Zimmerli was the executive vice president and chief financial officer of the Methodist Hospital System (now Houston Methodist) in Houston, Texas. Prior to that, he served in numerous capacities with Memorial Hermann Healthcare System in Houston, including senior vice president and chief financial officer. He also was a partner in Ernst & Young’s Houston office, where he spent 16 years, specializing in healthcare. Mr. Zimmerli served on the board of R1 RCM, a publicly traded company for approximately 5 years and currently serves on the boards of several privately held companies. He also has served, and in some cases continues to serve, in an advisory capacity for two private equity funds. He is a Certified Public Accountant and received the Elijah Watts Sells Award for achieving the second highest score in the United States when he passed the CPA Exam. He and his wife Lynnie have three adult sons and enjoy traveling, outdoor sports and related activities and in supporting a few community-based charitable organizations.

Chief Executive Officer & President of Colt Builders Corp., Glen has an advanced diploma in Construction Engineering Technology and an extensive background in business that includes over 17 years of experience in construction management of large turnkey commercial real estate projects.

Jane Imperatore

Jane is a graduate of the University of Richmond School of Law and the University of Virginia, with High Distinction. She guides owner/developers, contractors, and design professionals through all phases of development and construction of commercial properties in the market rate and affordable sectors, including preparation, review, negotiation of development, design, construction, and design-build. She has represented clients in construction disputes in jury and bench trials before state and federal courts, mediations, arbitrations, and dispute review boards.

Amy Jo, CPA, is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Utah and a graduate of the Weber State University Goddard School of Business Master of Accounting program, with Goddard Scholar distinction. She is primarily responsible for investor relations, financial analysis, and financial reporting for North American Management's companies.

Though 'home' is Bucks Country Pennsylvania, Michael is proud alumni of West Virginia University, where he received his degree in Accounting. He became interested in the construction industry in high school when he helped out with the family's home remodelling business. Michael interacted primarily with construction contractors for 12 years as he worked in Public Accounting in Montgomery County Maryland. He approaches life with enthusiasm, whether it is at Colt Builders where he now leads the accounting and finance team, or with family, friends and the outdoors.

Business Manager with North American Management for over 2+ years, Teal brings a background in Real Estate and Business Administration and extensive experience in contract management and construction accounting. Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Teal’s father worked in construction managements and her mother worked in business management. Teal herself is a mother of 1 son and 2 daughters, loves being in the mountains, camping, and spending time with her family.

With a decade of experience in accounting, Brittany serves as Controller, bringing a strong foundation built through years working primarily with manufacturing companies. She joined the team in 2024, contributing both technical expertise and a thoughtful, steady approach to financial leadership. Brittany holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master of Professional Accounting from Colorado State University and is a licensed CPA in the state of Utah. Outside of work, she loves spending time outdoors—running, hiking, or riding her bike—often accompanied by her husband and their two dogs.

Nancy has been with North American Management since 2017. Prior to joining our team, Nancy spent 31 years working with Mass Mutual, 10 of those years as the Business Manager for the Salt Lake City branch. Born and raised in Murray, UT and recently located to Vernal, UT, Nancy loves family get-togethers, camping, boating, and fire pits.

Jackie DeMarco is an experienced accounting and operations professional with a strong background in AR leadership, financial accuracy, and process optimization across construction and technical service environments. She is known for her clear communication, systems driven mindset, and ability to strengthen cross functional workflows.
Outside of work, Jackie enjoys the outdoors, gourmet cooking, and travelling. She brings that same curiosity and steady energy into every project she supports.

Sydney Roberts

With North American Management, Sydney supports daily operations through strong organizational skills, clear communication, and dependable administrative support. She brings experience in office coordination, financial documentation, and process management, helping ensure projects and teams stay organized and on track.

Sydney is known for her attention to detail, adaptability, and people-first approach. She values collaboration and takes pride in being a reliable support for both leadership and team members.

Outside of work, Sydney is a creative at heart and enjoys acrylic painting, spending time with her two daughters, and keeping up with her chihuahua at home, while continuing to grow both personally and professionally.
